Bloom Energy may power your home and office in the future ...

 This may be the power source of your home and office of the future. This startup is said to have already deployed units to big names such as Google, Ebay, Fedex to help them run some of their operations and feedback seems to show that they are happy with the power Bloom is supplying.

The technology uses ceramic instead of expensive metals such as platinum typically used in fuel cell technology and therefore is expected to cost lower per unit electricity. It essentially converts natural gas into electricity without combustion. Pretty cool and its manufacturer says it is at least twice as efficient. Read more & more
